We love that the XPO Trainer is being used with high school athletes all over the United States! We recently heard from Kurt Earl, Head Football Coach and PE/Bible Teacher at Lincoln Christian School in Lincoln, Nebraska! Here's what Coach Earl had to say about our sled!
Why did you purchase the XPO Trainer for your gym/athletes?
We needed a sled like product that would meet the needs of a wide range of abilities. The sled products we have used in the past required a lot of changing of weights that created a lot of wasted time.
What benefits do you see when you or your athletes add sled training to a workout or conditioning routine?
In my experience, it's the easiest way to start training an athlete on being powerful in functional sprinting and jumping positions.
What makes the XPO Trainer different from other sleds you’ve used?
The fact that it matches my athletes' abilities. A 5'3" 110 lbs freshman girl and a 6'2" 215 lbs senior boy can use the same sled without changing any weights. It saves us lots of time and gives each athlete a customized training experience.
What is one of your most memorable workouts using the XPO Trainer?
We have found ways to use the XPO Trainer in the smallest of areas. If we have 15-20 linear feet of space, we do frog hops or single leg hops with the XPO Trainer.
Thanks, Coach, for your thoughts on the XPO Trainer! So glad your high school students are getting to know the meaning of #itshouldneverbeeasy! Check out the video below, which was featured on our AFE March Newsletter for Coach Earl's social media post of one of his athletes doing frog hops with the XPO Trainer!
